An excellent opportunity for a full-time Family Physician to join a thriving, physician-owned and operated cooperative medical clinic.

Centrally located near the North Island Hospital, our clinic is part of a welcoming and congenial medical community with excellent specialist coverage. Our team includes 11 Family Physicians and 4 Pediatricians, with physicians providing hospital care for their own patients and participating in a shared weekend call schedule.

We offer same-day appointments to our large patient roster, along with well-equipped procedure rooms and on-site nursing and Medical Office Assistant (MOA) support. Physicians are supported by a full complement of experienced office staff, including an RN, MOAs, dedicated billing staff, and an Office Manager.

As a cooperative practice, we are committed to creating a supportive environment where physicians work together, share resources, and contribute fairly to the success of the clinic.

30% of billings, capped at a maximum monthly amount, with the option to participate in an overhead-sharing formula.

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA), including (subject to change):

• Recruitment Incentive: up to a maximum of $10,000 (pro-rated based on FTE)
• Relocation: up to a maximum of $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
• Flat fee: $9,437.76
• Fee Premium: 6.09%
• CME: $2,200/annum year 3-4 and $4,400/annum after 4 years in the community

A variety of payment methods are possible for each physician to chose from, including fee-for-service and LFP payment models. Other options may be available.
