As a Learning Support Teacher, you’ll guide K-12 students, adapting to their learning needs through tailored support plans. You'll work under the guidance of the Special Education Director, emphasizing best practices in education and cultivating an environment reflective of Christian principles. Strong collaboration with staff and families will be essential in fostering each student's unique educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Deliver small group and one-on-one instructional support
• Apply differentiated instructional strategies effectively
• Maintain open communication with parents and staff
• Weave Christian values into lesson plans and teaching culture
Requirements:
• BC Professional Teaching License required
• Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent
• Experience with K-12 teaching environments
• Familiarity with assessment methods and classroom management
• Commitment to supporting Christian education
