Inclusive Skills Teacher

Position: Inclusive Skills for Life Teacher Role
Take on an impactful role as a Skills for Life Teacher, effective September 8, 2026. This temporary, part-time position is dedicated to providing inclusive educational experiences tailored for students with exceptional needs.

Candidates must possess a Diploma or Degree in Special Education and two years of teaching experience at a suitable level. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing differentiated instructional strategies as well as life skills programs. Your commitment to advocacy and collaboration will be instrumental in supporting student success and meeting diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute life skills and academic programs

• Collaborate with teachers and families on IEPs

• Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders

• Implement trauma-informed practices in the classroom

• Oversee program staff training and scheduling

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Special Education

• At least 2 years classroom experience

• Knowledge of modification and adaptation strategies

• Skills in interpersonal and verbal communication

• Familiarity with trauma-informed education practices
