Key Responsibilities- Support Indigenous Education programming at École des Deux Mondes and École Willow Point Elementary School.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan, develop and implement inquiry‑based, student‑centered learning aligned with the BC Curriculum.
- Integrate First People’s Principles of Learning, Social/Emotional Learning, and BC Mental Health Framework into instruction.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and support individual growth.
- Apply professional standards and best practices for BC educators.
- Relevant university qualifications and teaching certification.
- Comprehensive understanding of current educational practices outlined in BC Ministry of Education documents.
- Commitment to the craft of teaching, best practices, and Professional Standards for BC Educators.
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, communicative and problem‑solving skills.
- Flexible, adaptive, and dedicated to professional development.
- Experience and knowledge in Indigenous Education, histories, cultures and contemporary subjects.
