Position: Indigenous Education Success Teacher Role
Join École des Deux Mondes and École Willow Point as an Indigenous Education Success Teacher. This part-time role focuses on enhancing Indigenous education and implementing student-centered learning strategies.

This term position runs from September 8, 2026, to June 30, 2027, at 0.40 FTE. You will collaborate with colleagues to design inquiry-based curriculums, integrate First People’s Principles of Learning, and tailor instruction for diverse learners. Your commitment to Indigenous Education and effective teaching practices will be central to this impactful role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Indigenous Education programming in local schools

• Collaborate to plan and develop engaging learning experiences

• Integrate Social/Emotional Learning and mental health frameworks

• Differentiate instruction for diverse student needs

• Maintain professional standards and teaching best practices

Requirements:

• Relevant university qualifications and teaching certification

• Knowledge of BC educational practices and principles

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Experience in Indigenous Education and cultural knowledge

• Commitment to professional development and adaptability
