Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. is seeking a skilled Hydroelectric Operator for their Toba site. This role involves hands-on monitoring, optimizing plant performance, and conducting preventative maintenance of hydroelectric systems. Successful candidates will also troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with contractors, all while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor hydroelectric generation systems

• Conduct routine inspections and performance tracking

• Implement a Preventative Maintenance program

• Troubleshoot alarms to minimize downtime

• Manage contractors for maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

• Red Seal Industrial Electrician or Millwright preferred

• 3 to 5 years relevant experience required

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

• Good communication skills, comfortable in remote locations

• BC driver’s license in good standing
