Position: Civil Engineering Co-op Student at Aecon
Engage in hands-on projects as a Civil Engineering Co-op Student with Aecon in the Civil West division. This site-based role emphasizes site audits, project management, and technical support to enhance your learning experience.

Aecon is looking for motivated engineering students to assist in various aspects of heavy civil projects.

This role offers the chance to work closely with Field Engineers and Superintendents, contributing to site audits, productivity analysis, and day-to-day project management tasks. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated and prepared to tackle diverse challenges in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site audits and provide detailed reports

• Assist with quantity tracking and productivity analysis

• Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings

• Liaise with project staff regarding schedules

• Gather field information for project documentation

Requirements:

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

• Strong asset: experience in construction

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and beginner in AutoCAD

• Excellent communication skills

• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
