Internship for Concrete Testing Student

Join Metro Testing + Engineering as a concrete testing intern, ideal for civil engineering students. Gain practical experience in a leading Construction Materials Testing Lab in Western Canada.

We invite students currently enrolled in a civil engineering program to explore this opportunity. You'll assist in field and lab testing, focusing on concrete specifications and industry standards. Training will be provided, allowing you to interpret results and develop reports while nurturing relationships with site personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests on concrete before pouring

• Produce reports based on test results

• Collaborate with site personnel for long-term relationships

• Travel to various job sites in Campbell River area

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a post-secondary engineering program

• Interest in a materials testing career

• Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle

• Strong English communication skills

• Capable of lifting weights up to 23 kgs / 50 lbs
