In this permanent position, you'll support students' learning experiences by interpreting classroom lessons, activities, and fostering communication between students and staff. You'll play a vital role in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) while collaborating closely with teachers and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide ASL interpretation for educational content

• Facilitate communication during classes and school activities

• Adapt signing techniques to meet student requirements

• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

• Attend staff meetings and undertake assigned responsibilities

Requirements:

• Completed a two-year ASL Interpretation post-secondary program

• At least one year of relevant experience

• Demonstrated ASL fluency (Level 4 or higher)

• Class 5 BC Driver's License required

• Up-to-date Criminal Record Check every five years
