Janitorial Services Worker

Support Campbell River’s community facilities as an Auxiliary Facility Services Worker.

This role offers flexible, on-call scheduling, providing essential janitorial services to maintain cleanliness and order.

Become a part of the Recreation & Culture Team, where you will help keep city facilities pristine and welcoming. The role demands physical stamina for varied tasks, such as cleaning, minor repairs, and event setups while upholding teamwork and kindness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize washrooms and facilities

• Perform floor maintenance including polishing and waxing

• Dust and clean windows and replace light fixtures

• Assist in event setup and equipment management

• Manage waste disposal and inventory tracking

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Level I Occupational First Aid certification

• At least 1 year of janitorial experience

• Positive attitude and strong customer service abilities

• Ability to pass a police background check
