Position: Nurse Practitioner Focused on Youth Care
Make a difference in community health as a Nurse Practitioner with Vancouver Island Health Authority in Campbell River. This role prioritizes patient assessment and teamwork in a young-focused healthcare environment.

In this position, you will undertake comprehensive patient evaluations and initiate therapeutic interventions, including medication prescriptions. You will engage closely with patients and families, providing guidance and support while working alongside other health professionals in a collaborative setting. Your insight will contribute to the development of health strategies and policy-making activities that benefit the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed assessments and diagnose patient conditions

• Initiate treatment plans and prescribe as needed

• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

• Identify health trends and implement preventive strategies

• Engage in peer review for continuous quality assurance

Requirements:

• Active NP registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives

• Minimum of two years relevant clinical nursing experience

• Strong ability to communicate health findings effectively

• Experience in developing and evaluating health initiatives

• Capability to adapt in dynamic healthcare situations
