Outreach Worker at Lookout Housing

Help individuals in need as an Outreach Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society in Campbell River, BC. Provide advocacy and support for clients facing various life challenges.

This casual position involves working under the guidance of the Designated Manager, delivering support and direction to clients dealing with issues such as housing instability, addictions, and mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients in establishing stable living situations

• Network clients with necessary services and crisis intervention

• Develop action plans to address assessed issues

• Maintain comprehensive records and statistical data

• Aid in training staff and volunteers

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in a related field

• Two years of related experience or equivalent

• Class 5 Driver’s Licence and First Aid Level 1

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Criminal Record Clearance for Vulnerable Sector
