Campbell River Christian School (CRCS) is seeking a reliable and dedicated Bus Driver to join our team. This role plays a vital part in our school community by ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school, field trips, and other school-related activities. • Safely operate a bus on designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure the safety of all passengers during transit, including conducting pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with passengers, parents, and school staff.
• Educate passengers about safety protocols and bus etiquette.
• Assist children in boarding and disembarking from the bus, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the bus by performing routine checks and reporting any mechanical issues.
• Document any incidents or issues that occur during transit and report them to the appropriate authorities.
• Foster a positive environment by being approachable and responsive to passenger needs.

• Possession of a valid BC Class 2 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• Clean Driver’s Abstract with no major violations.
• Current First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Prior experience as a bus driver is preferred
• A commitment to the Christian faith and the values upheld by Campbell River Christian School.

• The start date is as soon as possible.
• Regular hours include morning and afternoon school runs, with opportunities for additional hours during field trips or extracurricular events.
