In this role, you’ll be the heart of our hotel, turning every interaction into a moment of delight and ensuring our guests feel truly at home.
Hourly pay: $21 / hour
Responsibilities- Greet and welcome all guests approaching the front desk in a friendly, service‑oriented manner.
- Operate the telephone switchboard courteously.
- Answer guest inquiries about hotel service, facilities, hours of operation, nearby restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
- Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.
- Follow credit policies.
- Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions; be familiar with all in‑house groups; identify closed‑out and restricted dates.
- Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations and follow rate‑quoting scenario.
- Handle check‑ins and check‑outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Assist management with inventory control and stocking products.
- Maintain attentiveness and courtesy to all guests, managers, and other employees.
- Sanitize keys when they are turned in and maintain lobby and public space cleaning.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Customer service experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be proficient with Windows operating systems.
- Positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to guests.
- Must be able to multi‑task, be detail‑oriented, and be able to problem‑solve to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
