Microsoft Dynamics GP Specialist – IT

Pacific Coast Sales & Service is the San Francisco district office representing the Trane Company that manufactures, manages and services HVAC equipment systems and controls.

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics GP Specialist to support and optimize our Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics GP) ERP system. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, and enhancement of our GP environment, ensuring that it continues to meet business needs effectively. You’ll serve as the subject-matter expert for Dynamics GP, providing technical support, collaborating with business users, and maintaining system performance and reliability.

• Deliver day-to-day support and troubleshooting for Dynamics GP, including troubleshooting issues in modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Inventory.
• Administer security roles, user accounts, workflows, and permissions.
• Monitor system performance, apply service packs, and coordinate upgrades/patches.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries and reports for analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and system optimizations.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and known issues for reference and training.
• Serve as the liaison with third-party vendors and support partners to resolve technical issues or manage ISV integrations.
• Provide user training and ongoing support to ensure adoption and proper use of the system.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP in a technical or functional role.
• Strong knowledge of GP modules (GL, AP, AR, Inventory).
• Experience with SQL Server (queries, scripting, reporting).
• Familiarity with GP integrations and third-party ISV modules (such as Wennsoft).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

We offer competitive compensation, which includes a base salary of $100K – $160K, subject to experience and location. We are committed to equal opportunity in employment.
