Job Description & How to Apply Below
Aquent Studios is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to support our leading Tech client’s Security Delivery Management (SDM) team. The SDM team tracks, manages, and ensures the timely remediation of security vulnerabilities across enterprise-wide security programs.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering, product, and operations teams to embed security operational best practices throughout program and product life cycles. Key focus areas include optimizing security workflows, leveraging AI and tooling to streamline operations, and driving accountability across high-impact security programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize AI tools and research capabilities to resolve task-ownership disputes, automate repetitive administrative workflows, interpret complex engineering commentary, and ensure accurate task routing with informed follow-ups.
- Monitor, organize, and track tasks originating from both internal security tooling and direct input from security engineers and analysts.
- Maintain consistent, professional engagement with task owners to drive timely updates against established runbooks and defined SLAs.
- Facilitate long-term, multi-team remediation efforts requiring extensive cross-functional alignment, ensuring continuous momentum on multi-month fixes.
- Partner with task owners and engineering leads to set realistic remediation deadlines, define measurable milestones, and establish clear operational cadences.
- Prepare and present weekly executive status reports highlighting upcoming deadlines and overdue tasks. Proactively elevate at-risk deliverables before timelines are breached.
- Maintain a high-level view across all active requests to identify recurring patterns, cross-team dependencies, and systematic bottlenecks. Proactively recommend process enhancements to boost throughput and eliminate repeat work.
- At least 2+ years experience coordinating projects, preferably within cybersecurity, software engineering, or IT infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI research/productivity tools and read basic engineering notes/logs to contextualize security issues.
- Exceptional communication skills with a track record of driving accountability across disparate engineering teams.
- Ability to balance granular task management with strategic, portfolio-level risk identification and process optimization.
