Junior Software Engineer

• Full-stack development (Type Script/JavaScript, React, Java, Node.js)
• Front-end UI and component work for responsive, accessible experiences
• Back-end services, APIs, and business logic focused on reliability and performance

• Projects involving AI or machine learning (NLP, LLMs) where applicable

• Participate across the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment
• Use source control, CI/CD, automated tests, and issue tracking as part of team workflows
• Create unit and integration tests to reduce regressions
• Apply secure, scalable, and maintainable engineering practices
• Use modern tools — including AI-assisted development tools when appropriate — while maintaining engineering accountability

• Collaborate with engineers, QA, product managers, and stakeholders
• Ask questions, seek feedback, and communicate technical progress and risks
• Work with a mentor and engineering manager to set goals and build technical depth
• Take increasing ownership of features from implementation through delivery
• Contribute to design reviews, sprint planning, and a collaborative engineering culture

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software design
• Programming experience from coursework, internships, projects, or professional work
• Experience with at least one modern language (Java, JavaScript, Type Script, Python, C++, etc.)
• Understanding of web application concepts, APIs, databases, and client/server architecture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and work within a large codebase
• Proven ability to work collaboratively on a software development team
