Location:

Lab, Jane Wheatley Medical Building, at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule:

Full time position for Weekend Nights, Weekend Days, or Weekday Nights available. PRN positions available.

• Performs a wide range of laboratory procedures.
• Assists with instruction to students and new team members of lab procedures.
• Participates in required education, competencies, and annual training.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Follows HIPAA compliance.
• Recognizes variation in test results and the ability to determine accuracy.
• Familiar with lab equipment, operation of equipment, and problem solving if needed.
• Follows all current and up to date lab procedures and policies.

• Associate or Bachelor's degree specializing as a Med Tech or Med Lab Tech.
• ASCP, AMT, HEW, or equivalent certifications preferred but not required.
• NEW GRADS WELCOME‼️
• No experience necessary.
• Job Demands------
• Strong and Effective Communication Skills.
• Standing and/or Walking for long periods.
• Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced atmosphere.
• Maintain focus and follow complex protocols.
• Familiarity with equipment and testing procedures.
• Lift over 35 lbs.
• BLS required through American Heart Association–renewals are included with TRH employment.
