Position: 🚑 EMT 🚑

Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky

Schedule:

Full time and PRN positions- varied shifts

• Prepare, compile, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively to hospital staff regarding the patient's vitals, comfort needs, and pain level.
• Respond to emergent situations efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable about medical equipment and medical terminology.
• Follow HIPAA compliance.
• Assist with communication and education of patient discharge to ensure the patient understands and has the needed resources available.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Represent the organization in a professional image and show initiative to be part of a positive work environment.
• Recognize emergency codes and appropriate interventions.

• High school or equivalent.
• Valid KY EMT license. Valid drivers license.
• 1-2+ years experience preferred.
• Annual KBEMS training required.
• Strong Communication Skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation.
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
• Lift over 50lbs.
• Excellent route and navigation skills.
• Open to continuing education for the most up to date protocols.
