Location:

Inpatient Pharmacy, Kentucky.

Schedule:

Full‑time position with varied shifts. May require evenings, weekends, and holidays coverage.

• Prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain medication dispensing systems (e.g., automated dispensing cabinets) including restocking, troubleshooting, and expiration checks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and medication records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality (HIPAA) standards.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas and respond to stat and routine medication requests.
• Compound sterile and non‑sterile medications in accordance with hospital policy and safety standards.
• Order sufficient quantities of medications necessary to provide high‑quality, cost‑effective patient care.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician training program.
• 1–2+ years inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation.
• Ability to calculate medication dosages.
