Occupational Therapist

Position: Occupational Therapist
Location: 100 Medical Park Dr, Suite B – across from Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky
Schedule: PRN – Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
What You’ll Do- Perform assessments and demonstrate proficiency in body mechanics and growth/development of all ages.
- Interpret and identify functional goals and objectives to build treatment plans.
- Provide education and resources to patients and their families.
- Ensure accurate documentation for treatment plans, progress notes, discharges, and evaluations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and other team members.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of hospital policies, regulations, and standards of practice for compliance purposes.
- Follow HIPAA compliance.
- Participate in continuous education and best practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Valid KY OT license.
- Experience preferred – new grads welcome.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
- Detail oriented, critical thinking, and problem solving.
- Frequent walking, standing in a rapid pace environment.
