Taylor Regional Cancer Center at 125 Greenbriar Drive

Schedule:

Full‑time position – Day Shift

• Assist with exams; assuring exams and documentation occur in a HIPAA‑compliant setting
• Accurately record patient medical history and vital signs in the patient’s medical record
• Participate in required education, competencies, and annual training
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members
• Follow HIPAA compliance
• Demonstrate strong skills and respond appropriately
• Assist with procedures and follow all verbal and written orders from the provider
• Accurately take patient phone calls and messages to ensure they are delivered to the provider; follow up with the patient for provider instructions
• Assist with scheduling, greeting patients, answering phones, and maintain responsibilities and tasks of the front desk area

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• 2‑3+ years experience in a physician office setting preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation
• Ability to use a computer proficiently
