Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse – Full Time, Night Shift

Full time – Nights

Special Shift Differential incentive for Night RNs.

• Ensures optimal patient care
• Communicates and educates patients effectively about their process and discharge
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation
• Supports a constructive work environment and responds to emergent situations
• Administers and controls medications and IV therapies in accordance with the RN Nurse Practice Act
• Follows HIPAA compliance
• Competent in nursing skills and personally responsible and reliable
• Follows all safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment
• Responds to emergent situations
• Closely monitors patient recovery phase and post‑partum phase
• Proficient in interpreting induction of labor, fetal monitor readings, exams, and electrode placement

• Associate degree required
• Valid KY RN license
• 2+ years minimum experience in labor and delivery
• Job Demands: strong communication skills
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation
• Frequent bending, standing, and walking
• Lift over 50 lbs

• BLS required (American Heart Association – renewals included with employment)
• ACLS and NRP required
• AWHONN Intermediate Monitoring Certificate required within 1 year of hire
