Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator
As the Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator, you will be responsible for site‑specific safety orientation, job site inspections and accident/incident reports, monitoring employees and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety procedures, proactively identifying and preventing hazardous situations, and organizing and conducting training programs including WHMIS, fall protection, PPE, CPR/First Aid, and creating/maintaining a safety‑first culture on site. You will review subcontractors’ pre‑construction safety submittals, file weekly safety documentation, and compile project health and safety statistics on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
Qualifications- Minimum 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
- Ability to delegate and influence others to follow safety rules and regulations.
- Active or in‑progress NCSO designation and knowledge of OHS regulations.
- Valid Advanced First Aid certification for Alberta.
