Position: Reading/Math Mentor Learning Buddies Network Nov 19, 2024

Complete the math/reading and volunteer manual training sessions

Participate in the orientation during the first week of the programs

Report to your Program Coordinator and Executive Coordinator

Prepare lesson materials provided by the organization for each session

Mentor your little buddy by using the lesson materials prepared

Attend mentor meetings

Requirements
  • Applicants must be either enrolled in school or planning to attend
  • The mandatory training must be completed
  • Volunteers must have a criminal record check done before volunteering with children
  • Must be located in Canada or the Continental United States

Training and Orientation

Asynchronous (online) and synchronous (online or in-person) volunteer training prior to the start of the programs. Orientations (online or in-person) will take place during the first week of programs.

Volunteers are expected to attend every session for the program they are assigned.
