High School Science and Math Teacher

Position: Full-Time High School Science and Math Teacher
Join St. Michael’s as a full-time Science and Math Teacher starting September 8, 2026. This position entails a strong commitment to student success in a collaborative teaching environment.

The Junior and Senior High Teacher role hael’s Regional High focuses on engaging students through effective teaching and learning practices. Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of both Science and Mathematics. You will work with colleagues and families to foster a safe environment and embrace a student-first approach to teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement effective and responsive teaching practices

• Create inclusive learning experiences for students

• Assess student progress and provide feedback

• Foster a safe and positive classroom environment

• Collaborate actively with the school community

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education

• NL Teaching Certificate – Level IV or higher

• Major in Science and Minor in Mathematics

• Experience in responsive teaching methodologies

• Passionate about student learning and leadership
