LGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Campbeltown, Scotland, United Kingdom
Pay Range: £14.50 per hour, 39 hours per week, with overtime at 1.5×. Position may be based in Lochgilphead or Campbeltown, Argyll & Bute. The schedule will be suitable for the starting location.
Responsibilities- Operate LGV vehicles to transport waste material to landfill.
- Adhere to driver hours' rules and transport legislation.
- Build a positive relationship with third‑party off‑takers.
- Maintain company standards and vehicle cleanliness.
- Perform weekly wheel re‑torque on vehicles.
- Attend operational meetings as required.
- Follow defect report procedures.
- Keep robust documentation records.
- Full UK driving licence (C+E).
- Health & Safety awareness.
- Drivers CPC card.
- Experience with hook/lift and skip vehicles.
- Ability to work independently.
- Capacity to complete daily maintenance duties and minor repairs.
