Mainroad Safety Advisor Position

Join Mainroad Alberta Contracting (Vermilion) LP as a Safety Advisor, overseeing safety compliance for highway maintenance in Camrose. This key role prioritizes effective training and hazard management.

In this full-time position, you will guide operations to adhere to safety and regulatory requirements. We seek a proactive and experienced safety professional capable of building strong relationships while enhancing safety protocols across various sites throughout Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and develop Safe Job Procedures and Work Practices

• Coordinate subcontractor safety documentation

• Facilitate safety audits and inspections

• Conduct emergency drills and monitor emergency responses

• Maintain documentation of the safety program

Requirements:

• At least five years of safety experience in construction or maintenance

• Mandatory NCSO or CRSP certification

• Comprehensive understanding of OH&S legislation

• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to travel within Alberta
