The Position:
The Member Service Representative provides customer service by processing routine over-the-counter member requests and directing members to the appropriate branch services that Vision Credit Union Ltd. offers. The role focuses on delivering exceptional, positive, and friendly experiences with accuracy.
- Member Service Experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and member service skills are essential, including dealing with people tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
- Attention to technical detail and ability to work effectively in a time-sensitive, team environment are necessary.
- Cooperative or Credit Union industry experience is a benefit.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $43,000 to $50,000 annually.

Summary:
The Member Service Representative handles member transactions and directs members to appropriate services, ensuring high-quality, friendly, and accurate service.
Responsibilities:
- Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and foreign exchange.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and refer members to relevant services.
- Manage cash drawers, currency transactions, and security procedures.
- Balance cash drawers accurately, respond to inquiries, and handle wire transfers.
- Open and close accounts, secure safety deposit boxes, and follow compliance policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Member Service and cash handling experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Professional appearance and manners.
