This role invites applicants to fill a sessional vacancy for AUCHE 230, focused on the principles of Structure and Bonding. The position is for a four-month period, from September 1 to December 8, 2026, concluding with an exam period. Priority consideration will go to internal candidates and previous employees of the University.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct lectures for AUCHE 230:
Structure and Bonding
• Develop engaging course content and assessments
• Evaluate and provide feedback on student work
• Facilitate interactive discussions in class
• Attend and contribute to faculty meetings
Requirements:
• Strong academic credentials in chemistry
• Previous teaching experience in higher education
• Commitment to in-person teaching at Camrose Campus
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Internal candidates and previous employees prioritized
Inspire students' passion for chemistry while teaching at the University of Alberta this Fall.
