Heavy Metal Equipment is seeking an enthusiastic
, results-driven individual looking to build their career in Payroll & Human Resources as a HR/PAYROLL Assistant to join our team in our Camrose, Alberta location.
This is an entry-level position, where we will provide training and support to the right candidate to grow their career along with us.
The JobThe HR/Payroll Assistant is an extremely important position within our organization who is initially responsible for:
- Ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time
- Maintaining HR and payroll information, by collecting, calculating, entering, and maintaining data with exceptional accuracy and efficiency
- Learning and participating in Human Resource functions related to payroll and the overall employee experience
The candidate will typically work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. However, the HR/Payroll Assistant is expected to adjust their schedule on occasion to meet the demands and timelines of the position.

- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and database computer programs; experience with ADP would be an asset

- Provide a minimum of a Class 5 Driver's license and clean Driver's Abstract
- Provide a criminal record check
- Complete a drug and alcohol screening with a negative result
- Complete a fitness evaluation related specifically to your position
