As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Surgery Unit, you will engage in diverse nursing assessments, interventions, and care planning. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement treatments and educate patients and families about discharge planning. This role allows the opportunity to excel in a variety of surgical conditions while enhancing your nursing skills in a collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments and implement prescribed treatments

• Administer medications and monitor patient progress

• Collaborate with the care team for patient education

• Coordinate discharge planning and advocate for patients

• Assist in provision of wound care and surgical interventions

Requirements:

• Graduated from a Registered Nurse program

• Active registration with the CRNA

• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification

• Experience with PICC and central lines preferred

• Excellent assessment and organizational skills
