Part-Time Disability Worker at Catholic Social Services

Become a part-time Community Disability Worker with Catholic Social Services in Camrose, AB. Support adults with developmental disabilities by providing personalized care and fostering social connections.

This role requires a motivated and compassionate individual who can assist clients with daily living activities and encourage their participation in community events. You will play a vital role in empowering individuals, helping them achieve greater independence and dignity while addressing their unique needs. Shift work is necessary to comply with the 24-hour operational needs of our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal assistance to adults with disabilities

• Organize and facilitate social and recreational programs

• Implement individualized care plans for clients

• Engage clients in community activities to enhance well-being

• Support clients with complex needs in various situations

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education; diploma/degree is an asset

• 6 months relevant experience with disabilities

• Current Standard First Aid Level C certification

• Clear Driver’s Abstract, valid class 5 license

• Vulnerable Sector Check from local authorities
