Role Overview

The Relationship Banking Associate delivers high‑quality customer service and responsiveness to meet internal and external customer satisfaction. This individual processes routine transactions, supports consumer deposit account opening, and identifies sales opportunities to partner banks.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in related banking positions or equivalent sales/customer service experience
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to initiate conversations with customers and identify needs and opportunities
  • Organizational, interpersonal, and customer relations skills including problem solving and decision‑making
  • Ability to function in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment
  • Team‑player and cooperative
  • Proficient computer skills
Key Responsibilities
  • 65% – Process routine transactions and general customer/account servicing duties accurately and efficiently, including teller transactions, administrative tasks, record maintenance, vault balancing, and referrals.
  • 25% – Identify customer opportunities through consultative conversations, conduct sales and service calls, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • 5% – Participate in community events supporting the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
  • 5% – Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
  • Effective communication with internal and/or external customers
  • Stationary 50% of time; move around within/between locations; bend, twist, crouch, squat; lift up to 20 lbs.
