Position: Bookkeeper / Controller Position Available

Larry's Carpet One Floor & Home seeks a detailed-oriented Bookkeeper/Controller to manage financial operations within construction. This full-time role offers a collaborative, family-friendly atmosphere.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management for our construction projects. Your accounting expertise will ensure accurate billing, payroll, and financial reporting while coordinating with internal staff and external partners. A successful candidate will have a background in bookkeeping and construction, with skills in customer collaboration and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly payroll and coordinate with accounts payable/receivable

• Prepare and maintain financial records for construction management

• Generate Monthly Financial Statements and assist with tax filings

• Monitor project budgets, expenses, and assist with billing

• File corporate reports and manage Quarterly Payroll Tax Returns

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years bookkeeping experience;
College degree necessary

• Proficient in Sage software and Excel

• Strong General Ledger and computer skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and self-motivation

• Strong communication abilities both verbal and written
