Be part of our Houston office as a Payment Processing Accounting Specialist dedicated to managing cash items and enhancing our financial records. This role is ideal for skilled accounts receivable professionals.

We seek an experienced Accounting Specialist with at least 2 years of accounts receivable expertise, preferably learned in a law practice. Candidates must excel with Aderant accounting software and have strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook to thrive in this in-office role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process cash items and oversee third-party payments

• Prepare and ensure accuracy of daily bank deposits

• Reconcile billing records and adjust client accounts as needed

• Create and distribute financial reports daily

• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive financial information

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years accounts receivable experience

• Proficient in Aderant software and Microsoft applications

• Experience in law firms preferred but not mandatory

• Ability to assist with special projects as required

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
