Good project controls start with accurate, timely information. As a Project Controls Administrator, you will help keep payroll, billing, project reporting, and financial information moving accurately and efficiently.

Supporting our BCFSL operations in Rocanville, you will report to the Project Controls Lead and work closely with Project Controls, Accounting, project teams, clients, and other stakeholders. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex information, improving processes, and seeing the practical impact of their work.

The position is expected to be temporary for up to six months, with the potential to become a permanent opportunity based on business needs.

• Manage employee time entry to support accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Prepare daily Labour, Equipment, and Material reports for client approval.
• Coordinate weekly, biweekly, and monthly billing in line with project requirements and client contracts.
• Prepare project reports, client-specific submissions, and required data uploads.
• Support accounts payable review, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
• Work with Accounting and Project Controls to monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial information.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualisations that support project decision-making.
• Use data modelling, transformation techniques, and SQL to improve reporting and data analysis.
• Maintain automated data refresh schedules and ensure updated information is available to stakeholders.
• Complete ad hoc analysis and prepare reports requested by Project Managers and business partners.
• Work with cross-functional teams to confirm project data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve and automate Project Controls processes.

• Five or more years of experience in administration, bookkeeping, accounting, project controls, or a related environment.
• Experience with invoicing and billing for large-scale projects, preferably in construction, industrial services, or project management.
• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting.
• Strong experience with Power BI, including reports, dashboards, data visualisation, data modelling, and data transformation.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system is highly desirable. SAP Business One experience is an asset.
• Knowledge of SQL is an asset.
• Experience with Excel VBA, process automation, or Power Shell is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy across competing priorities.
• A practical, organised approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across project, accounting, site, and client teams.

• This is a full-time, onsite position in Rocanville, Saskatchewan.
• Candidates must be local to Rocanville and available to work onsite.
• Living-out allowance is not provided.
