We have an opportunity available for a Clerk to join our team and support our payroll and accounting operations. As a Clerk, you are one of our key team players who supports the overall efficiency of our operations.

We operate in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, and we need your ability to multitask and deal with changing priorities to keep our team on track and employees and vendors paid on time.

Though not required, experience with different SAP modules and S4/Hana, as well as knowledge and familiarity with various Nova Scotia Government Policies are desirable qualities to be considered.
You are a self-motivated individual who works both independently with minimal supervision and participates fully as an effective team player. You are accurate in your work and have well-developed time management and organizational skills to meet established payroll deadlines and priorities. Consistently you maintain confidentiality in all you do. You possess problem solving abilities and analyze and present information in clear, concise manners.
Your exceptional interpersonal and communication skills will assist you when liaising with staff and responding to staff and vendor inquiries, both verbally and in writing. You consistently maintain a professional and courteous disposition and hold a high standard for client and customer service.
We will assess all qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.
