Accounts Payable Coordinator

Position: Accounts Payable Coordinator Strathcona County
Location: Sherwood Park West

Support financial operations as an Accounts Payable Coordinator at Strathcona County. Ensure accurate invoice processing and compliance while contributing to the team’s effectiveness.

This temporary role requires managing accounts payable activities efficiently and accurately within the Treasury Services team. Your responsibilities include coordinating payments, resolving discrepancies, and providing administrative support to the Purchasing Card program. Collaborate closely with vendors and finance colleagues to uphold financial integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and coordinate all accounts payable activities

• Review, verify invoices, and resolve discrepancies

• Support cash flow management with timely payment processing

• Provide ongoing support for the PCard program

• Prepare accounts payable and PCard reports for finance review

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in accounting or finance

• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts payable

• Strong knowledge of financial controls and compliance

• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
