Position: Bilingual Unit Clerk Role Available
Location: South Central Manitoba (Altona)

Join Southern Health-Santé Sud as a Bilingual Unit Clerk and enhance patient services. This role encompasses clerical work, communication, and collaboration.

Reporting to the Health Services Director or Manager, the Unit Clerk is crucial to providing organized support within the nursing team. Candidates must possess at least one year of experience and hold a Unit Clerk Certificate. Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational skills, and the capacity to foster respectful workplace relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute clerical and receptionist tasks effectively

• Communicate clearly and prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting

• Uphold confidentiality in all documentation practices

• Maintain supportive interactions with staff at all levels

• Celebrate and enhance a diverse cultural environment

Requirements:

• One year of experience in a clinical setting

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Valid Unit Clerk Certificate required

• Class 5 driver’s license is mandatory

• Bilingual in English and French preferred
