Recreation Program Assistant Coordinator

Location: Central Patricia

Support recreation programming and birthday party bookings with Active Net and Microsoft 365 at the City of Orillia. Work includes weekend on-site oversight.
Reporting to the Programs and Camps Coordinator, this contract position supports administrative, clerical, and customer service operations. Responsibilities include booking, payments, scheduling, documentation, training records, and day-to-day program support. The role also handles customer inquiries and cancellation updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Review birthday party requests and confirm availability
Process Active Net bookings, payments, agreements, changes, and refunds
Schedule party staff and adjust coverage when needed
Oversee weekend parties, setups, staff, and customer experiences
Maintain records, reports, correspondence, and operational documentation
Requirements:
Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of administrative experience

Experience with staffing, scheduling, events, or facility rentals
Advanced Microsoft 365 proficiency and Active Net knowledge
Valid Class G licence, reliable vehicle, and Criminal Record Check
Bring organized administration, customer service, scheduling, and recreation booking skills to the City of Orillia.
