About Our Opportunity
As the Mechanic 3, you will be responsible for outfitting, repairs, and maintenance on Natural Resources fleet of light duty vehicles and equipment (snowmobile, ATV's, UTV's, utility trailers, fire trucks as well as road vehicles). Vehicles/equipment must be safe, reliable, and available.
In this role you will report to the Fleet Service Coordinator.
Primary Accountabilities
Qualifications and Experience
This may be the right opportunity for you if you have a Red Seal in Automotive Service Technician.
The successful completion of training and knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, First Aid and WHMIS would also be considered assets. Must demonstrate oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
You have strong time management skills in order to plan, organize and prioritize tasks and reports within scheduled timelines.
We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.

Working Conditions
Most jobs to be done in a garage type repair shop.
Occasional work to be done roadside or at another depot, which could be indoor or outdoor.
Regular exposure to moderate amounts of noise in the garage, dirt, grease, and oil at most sites.
