Licensed Automotive Technician

Location: Hants County (Shubenacadie)

We are looking for a full-time  Licensed Automotive Technician  to join our team! Licensed Automotive Technicians work 40 hours per week 8am-5pm with one hour lunch Monday through Friday, no weekends.

Diesel and Auto Electric Limited is a locally owned business in Nova Scotia that supplies automotive parts and mechanical services.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required

Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications

Advise supervisor on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements

Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor

Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License

Have a valid driver's license and be able to provide a current driver's abstract

Excellent diagnostic skills

Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a friendly, positive attitude

Hard working, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills

Pride in workmanship

Electrical aptitude considered an asset

Alignment experience considered an asset

A/C Certificate considered an asset

EV/Hybrid Experience considered an asset
