Position: Automotive Mechanic Green Job

Become a vital part of environmental preservation as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic. This role requires hands-on experience, working onsite in a challenging garage environment to support vehicle maintenance and repairs.

You will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, and replacing automotive components while providing outstanding customer service. Working closely with supervisors, you will diagnose problems and advise customers on necessary repairs. A solid attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are critical for this role, as you'll perform various tasks in a noisy and often dirty setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm repair decisions with a supervisor

• Adjust, repair or replace automotive parts

• Perform scheduled maintenance services

• Test units to meet specifications

• Provide detailed reports on work performed

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year automotive experience

• College/CEGEP education preferred

• Own transportation required

• Excellent oral and written communication

• Ability to stand for extended periods
