Position: Advisor for Eeyou Istchee Economic Projects
Location: Mistissini

Become a Sectoral Development Advisor focused on economic projects within Eeyou Istchee at the Cree Nation Government in Mistissini. This full-time role emphasizes collaboration with communities to identify and implement development initiatives.

In this position, you will manage various economic projects, aiming for sustainable development in the region. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and three to five years of project management experience. You'll also analyze the holistic impacts of programs to align with a circular economy philosophy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate economic development projects and plans

• Facilitate communication with development partners

• Organize meetings for regional initiatives

• Support the Manager of Sustainable Development

• Develop and update policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience

• Fluency in English and Cree;
French is an asset

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to adapt and manage travel needs
