Position: Construction Administrator for York Region
Location: Ontario Centre (Queensville)

Join York Region as a Construction Administrator, managing contract compliance and financial administration in a dynamic infrastructure environment. Ensure quality and environmental adherence during construction phases.

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will oversee multiple construction projects. This role requires skills in financial oversight, project scheduling, and environmental assessment. You will coordinate with contractors and ensure documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer complex construction projects and supervise consultants

• Track project budget, prepare payment certificates, and monitor expenditures

• Ensure environmental compliance with erosion and sedimentation controls

• Maintain thorough documentation of projects through reports and photographs

• Resolve disputes between contractors and stakeholders effectively

Requirements:

• Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology

• OACETT Certification as a Certified Engineering Technologist

• Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license

• Knowledge of construction practices and regulatory legislation

• Proficient in MS Office and Microsoft Project
