Nuclear Construction Site Superintendent

Location: Renfrew County and Lanark Highlands Township (Deep River)

Lead significant construction initiatives with Aecon at Chalk River, Ontario, for Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. This Site Superintendent role is crucial in overseeing complex projects while prioritizing safety and quality.

In this key position, you will assist the Construction Manager with scheduling and supervision on various construction tasks.

Your role will focus on compliance with safety and quality standards, maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, and adapting project strategies when needed. A thorough understanding of construction processes and strong leadership skills will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily construction activities

• Implement client policies and project procedures

• Create detailed schedules for successful execution

• Ensure compliance with QA/QC programs

• Direct trades and maintain safety training records

Requirements:

• Technical diploma or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 5 years in construction supervision

• Nuclear industry experience preferred

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
