Position: Site Agent for Tier 1 Construction
Location: Northwest Newfoundland/Eastern Labrador (Mary's Harbour)

Take on a pivotal role as a Site Agent with a leading Tier 1 Construction Company in Oxfordshire. You will oversee a £10m Civils and Rail project while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

This long-term contract position is designed for experienced professionals in civil engineering. You’ll support the Project Manager and be responsible for delivering the project within budget and on schedule. The role requires night and day shift work, with higher rates for night shifts. Given the scale of the project, you will collaborate closely with a dedicated site team and an experienced Works Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful project delivery within budget and timeline

• Oversee health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance

• Support the Project Manager in all aspects of execution

• Manage on-site teams during day and night shifts

• Produce Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets

Requirements:

• Experience in civil engineering projects required

• Familiarity with rail sector projects preferred

• PTS, CSCS, and SMSTS certifications needed

• Degree in a construction-related field or equivalent

• Strong organizational and technical site management skills
