In this Building Inspector (Part
9) position, you will evaluate construction projects and ensure adherence to Manitoba's building codes. You’ll interact with builders and the community, overseeing inspections at various stages of development. Your contributions will greatly impact local safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect construction sites to verify compliance with codes

• Review construction drawings for permit applications

• Document inspections and prepare thorough reports

• Address queries from architects, engineers, and the public

• Participate in committee meetings with technical input

Requirements:

• At least five years’ experience in building inspection

• Certification with the Manitoba Building Officials Association

• Proficient in digital tools like GIS and Microsoft Office

• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

• Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
