This position typically runs from July to October, requiring individuals who can operate County equipment and manage physical tasks effectively. The successful candidate will report to the Public Works Supervisor, contributing to road construction efforts and general maintenance work while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual labor, such as shoveling dirt

• Aid in maintaining signs and culverts across the municipality

• Load and move equipment securely and safely

• Support crack-filling and pavement patching activities

• Operate machinery with minor maintenance duties required

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver's license necessary

• Experience operating equipment such as skid steers

• Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy loads

• Knowledge of road maintenance procedures

• Able to pass a police Criminal Record Check
